Article 27 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) remains a crucial part of your data privacy compliance obligations.
- Doing business in the EU, UK or Switzerland but don’t have a physical presence in those territories?
- you likely have an obligation to have a local Data Representative in those countries – we do that!
- If your website uses any analytics, has log files, or stores the IP addresses of European visitors then Article 27 of the GDPR applies and you are required to appoint an EU-or UK-based Representative physically located in an EU Member State or the UK.
